In 2015, the United Nations agreed on 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) with a total of 169 targets to be achieved by 2030. The SDG marks a new course towards sustainable development and is a call to action for people, planet and prosperity.

en world Japan and the Executive Search team, are delighted to be hosting our 5th Event on Sustainability and the ESG Market, for Executives and Leaders in Japan. The theme, Value, Investment, and Vision in sustainable development and the outlook for 2023, the evening promises to create thoughtful discussion and networking. Our panelists from different industries and backgrounds, will provide an interesting balance of opinion on strategies, approaches, and examples that can be adopted in multiple business environments to help with comprehending the challenges faced in meeting the criteria and expectations demanded of ESG in today’s business world.

In September 2022, en world conducted a survey involving 208 global companies in Japan on the status and ESG/SDGs implementation in their company.

Paul Beddie
International Ambassador, Globalization Office, Office of the COO
SAP Japan

Paul is a global business development executive with 30 years of experience living and working in Asia. As International Ambassador for SAP Japan, he works with executive and Board level members of Japan headquartered companies in their globalization initiatives, leveraging the entire suite of SAP solutions, services, and global partner ecosystem. Paul has a strong passion for sustainability and helping companies move towards zero emissions, zero waste, and zero inequality in their global operations. To that end, he is deeply involved in SAP’s sustainability enabling efforts as a strategic advisor for Asian headquartered companies to achieve their ESG goals.

Tove Kinooka
Co-Founder and Director
Global Perspectives

Tove is a bicultural (British/Danish) sustainability consultant who has worked in Japan since 1998. As a consultant and coach, she combines her scientific & agricultural background, business know-how, and decades of people development experience to help transform company culture to enable sustainability strategies to flourish. She co-founded Global Perspectives with her business partner Gavin Dixon in 2015, and they recently launched enteleco in order to scale up their sustainability work.

Tove holds certifications in Business Sustainability Management (Cambridge University), Organizational Change Consulting (Ashridge-Hult Business School), and a degree in Biological Science (University of Exeter). Alongside her main work, Tove is an Executive Committee member of the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan (BCCJ), where she leads the Responsible Business Task Force and part of the Management Committee for Refugee Empowerment International (REI).

Dominic Henderson

Morrow Sodali

Dominic has 35 years of financial sector experience of which 23 years are in institutional research sales & trading. He worked in London, New York and Tokyo for Robert Fleming and Jardine Fleming. Flemings was bought by Chase in 2000 and then became JP Morgan. Dominic was the Branch Manager and Head of Macquarie Securities Japan. He has extensive relationships around the world as well as solid experience setting up, growing and managing businesses. Dominic joined Morrow Sodali, a leading provider of ESG strategic advisory and shareholder services to corporate clients around the world. He set up the Japan operation in 2021.
