Meet Our People

Kevin Naylor – Vice President Operations

Tokyo

I joined the en world as a Consultant more that 7 years ago on the recommendation of my best friend who was a client of en world. He was impressed by the quality of service delivered and dedication to excellence that he saw in comparison to other recruitment firms.

Over the years I have experienced a lot and grown immeasurably thanks to the opportunities en world has offered. I have managed through a Global Financial crisis and, with the guidance of my firm, helped team members find new paths to success internally rather than an open door to the street. I have been fortunate enough to be able to promote and help train the next generation of top performing young managers at en world.

We all have been given the opportunity to help build en world, based on the values and successes of the past and with the opportunities only a large and global platform can provide. This is a rare and exciting chance which few people ever get and it is happening live, right now. Here at en world we are always in need of great people that bring new ideas and best practices to help us continue on to bigger achievements not only in Japan but globally.

Yu Sato – Vice President Sales

Tokyo

I joined en world in April 2008 as Consultant in the Supply Chain Management Division. You can say that joining en world changed me and my families outlook on life in a very positive way. I had 5 years of recruitment experience prior to joining and to be honest, I had no intention of changing Companies. However I was impressed by en world’s fair and competitive salary compensation schemes and I wanted to use my previous experience in the foreign recruiting market focusing on top level executives and using English and really challenge my potential. The office environment has this good mix of being performance based but also focusing on having good teamwork and developing staff. The people here are diverse, and are very passionate professionals that I really enjoy working with.

I have now been with en world for over 5 years and have seen my career progress forward systematically through the Tokyo candidate advisory role, to consultant, to business manager, business manager in our Hong Kong office and back to Japan. I am very happy to say that the core values I had when I first joined and now are still the same and still are a part of everything we do.Customer service, follow up and a whole career consulting approach to our customers. We are proud to be a company born in Asia Pacific and doing business the Asia Pacific way. When I started I was promised a career and being rewarded for good results. The company have delivered and now I have an opportunity to work within a familiar organization but in a new challenging environment.

Tokyo

My previous Manager in my old job joined en world in the summer of 2008, and she invited me to apply for the candidate coordinator position. The decision to join en world was really a mixture of several factors. The startup of the B2C Team, and getting to meet the (then) President of en world, my experiences during my half day inside the office and meeting the staff at en world.

Daily, even though I feel pressure, and am busy during work, I can feel myself growing and becoming stronger in a professional sense which really gives me a sense of achievement.

From when I started with en world in 2008, and subsequent promotion to Consultant in 2010, I have managed to produce top billing results in en world, and have been subsequently promoted to Business Manager. Working at en world has been my first experience in the world of recruitment and talent acquisition. Due to the support, advice and training available/provided by en world I’ve produced top billing results and I have a professional career that I’m proud of. The work environment is such that everyone has such high levels of motivation, which in turn leads to a productive and positive work environment which I think is great. At the moment I’m working in the Industries of Apparel, Sports, Food, and Beverages, however as I’m meeting Candidates my industry knowledge and network has increased, which in turn helps to create a better relationship between myself and the client. I have become a trusted adviser.

Sei Okaniwa – Team Manager

Tokyo

I joined en world Japan in 2010 as my first job out of University. Not knowing much about the industry, I was attracted by the power, energy, competitiveness as well as friendliness in the people. From then it has been over 3 years and I have moved from a Candidate Coordinator, Candidate Advisor, Consultant, and now a Business Manager. I work with decision makers at global foreign capital companies in a range of industries to assist them in recruiting professionals in the Supply Chain Management space. I am constantly motivated by the positive competition we have in the office not only within my team but with others in other teams as well. It had definitely been a great ride so far and looking forward to even greater success.
