Avago’s ASIC division is looking for an experienced software/firmware project manager that can build and lead a team developing products for embedded IP.  Responsibilities will include defining and implementing APIs, GUIs, and firmware for controlling complex mixed-signal circuitry.  Candidate should have experience in creating high-quality, user-friendly, production-ready software solutions.   This position demands a very strong commitment to teamwork, quality and dependability.   The candidate must have the ability to work closely with business partners and engineering groups to develop strategies and roadmaps. 
 
They will be responsible for managing projects including the day-to-day activities of a team, code development plans, quality checks, code reviews, etc.  As a technical lead this individual must have the experience to provide the technical direction, set the requirements for the project team, the ability to define, plan, guide and mentor engineers’ direct work on multiple projects, and ensure proper design effort and timely solutions.  The candidate should have a thorough understanding of life cycle development through production implementation and post implementation maintenance.  The role is expected to be approximate 50% people/project management, and 50% technical lead engineering.
 
The candidate must be proficient in multiple programming languages along with the ability to take business requirements and constrains and develop the total technical design for an entire software solution through production.
