Role & Mission:

  • The Retail Excellence & Operations Manager has a transversal role within the regional team and store teams. He/She will work in close conjunction with all relevant departments within the region.
  • He/She drives the market operational coordination of actions and initiatives to constantly improve store organization, productivity and store experience.
  • He/She supports Managing director with various analysis and reports related to the evolution of our activities.
  • He/She monitors actions and initiatives taken by the brand, analysing their impacts, relevance and efficiencies in close collaboration with the supporting functions relaying the regional summaries to the Country manager/regional manager.
  • He/She is empowered to propose and define new business solutions (such as new retail tools, new retail activities and practices, new retail processes, ...) with the goal of continuously improving and raising the Brand Operational Retail Standards. He/She with work closely with the regional Retail excellence & Operations Manager to ensure we are working towards global alignment.
  • Responsible for ensuring operational specifications are communicated to all regional departments
  • Own the roadmap of new store openings, chairing the steering committees to success.
  • Managing the operational delivery of major brand campaigns.

Retail Excellence:

  • Propose new ideas and suggest new business solutions for both short and long term - work with the Country manager/regional manager and the regional Retail Excellence & Operations Manager to ensure alignment of initiatives.
  • Follow-up implementation of new initiatives and/or projects.
  • Coordinate and follow the regional Retail strategy.
  • Own the implementation and update of the "store Handbook" good implementation in conjunction with the Architecture/VM and Client Relations departments & regional teams.
  • Instrumental on the implementation of an omnichannel business model in the market, supporting stores and feeding back to regional/global teams.
  • Constantly review all processes and procedures to reduce complexity and improve productivity at store levels. Work with local teams and operational functional experts to create, plan, test and continuously improve processes. Share best practices and collaborate with regional Retail Excellence & Operations Manager in globalising successful initiatives.
  • Generate a high level of collaboration and communication with all regional departments.
  • He/she will also take over some ad-hoc projects proposed by Country manager/regional manager.

[Language Requirement]
English Language level: Business level
Japanese Language level: Fluent - Native Level (Equivalent to JLPT N1)
Work permission in Japan required

10-15 million JPY
