Retail Director


Job purpose:
Lead sales team to deliver sales results according to company targets, manage, coach and develop sales team, maintain highest level of customer service, enhance customer relationship. Manage the relevant Retail Network and develop our business into the related market.

Job Responsibilities:
Business Development
・ Deliver sales results according to company targets
・ Be responsible for ad hoc projects in region or as assigned, for example, popups, new store openings/renovations/closures, events, etc.
・ Work closely with landlords or relevant stakeholders to explore opportunity to further positioning and promote the brand
・ Conduct regular store/market visits to ensure standards are maintained, expectations are being achieved and actions plans are developed in order to move the business forward
・ Generate and analyze sales, profit and loss statements, KPIs and on how to reach goals and grow the business
・ Create strategic decisions based on the needs of the business, based on both short- and long-term objectives, in alignment with company initiatives, and executes an action plan to increase sales and profit

Team Management
・ Ensure proper application and compliance with performance and people management procedures including, PIP as needed, goal setting, performance rating, etc.
・ Act as leader of Area Manager/Store Manager and to ensure the appropriate representation and integrity of the company and the brand, and ensures that they demonstrate outstanding leadership skills
・ Communicate with retail team about company vision, strategy and clear direction
・ Develop business strategies and set achievable goals and targets, implements sales incentives to help boost sales, and ensures the stores are held accountable for achieving set goals
・ Lead retail team to create a dynamic environment with superlative customer service standards, and assures the store and staff are inviting, professional, and knowledgeable on product and related company information
・ Ensure adequate retail staffing through recruitment of the right talents especially store managers' recruitment and development, make sure succession planning for critical positions in stores
・ Manage store structure and headcount to maximize productivity and sales growth
・ Ensure all new store managers and store staff's training and development programs are implemented and monitored for success

Client Management
・ Maintain an active social relationship with clients and community and understands the needs and changes of the market
・ Work closely with the communication and events team to execute local events
・ Propose and effectively implement local CRM to promote loyalty to the Brand

Retail Training
・ Responsible for the consistent implementation and enhancement of our Retail Training and all selling and clienteling tools

Retail Operation Management
・ Work closely with merchandising, planning to ensure that merchandise assortments reflect the brand strategy and stock levels are appropriate
・ Be Responsible for operational efficiency of the stores
・ Ensure store presentation and visual merchandising standards are maintained according to company directives
・ Analyze and manages sell through. Identifies and communicates regularly with department heads on product availability and market trends to maximize productivity
・ Assure optimum shrinkage results are met by enforcing security measures and maintaining consistent accuracy in inventory levels
・ Remain in compliance with operational and company policies and procedures
・ Demonstrate proficiency in managing operational costs, and balancing all related budgetary expenses in a cost-efficient manner

・ Bachelor's degree in Fashion or Business preferred
・ 7 - 10 years' experience in luxury management
・ Strong relationship with department stores' senior management
・ More than 5 years' experience in multi-location management of a luxury retail business
・ Ability to analyze financial reports
・ Full understanding of specialty retail, including business development, visual merchandising and store operations. Strong selling skills
・ A positive, outgoing, high-energy personality that is entrepreneurial
・ Good verbal and written English skill and excellence computer skills include operation of sale system, Word, Excel and email
・ Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills also a must
・ Ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills allowing for communication of the company's goals and objectives
・ Ability to thrive within a high paced environment, multi-tasks with ease while maintaining a balance of daily responsibilities
・ Ability to maintain active social relationships with clients and community and understands the needs and changes of the market, while keeping strong customer focus
・ Travel frequently if required
