[Company Description]
Global Securities Company

[Responsibilities]

  • Handle all accounting operations including monthly and year-end closing (JP GAAP and IFRS)
  • Prepare annual financial statements and the support documents for audit purpose
  • Regulatory reporting to regulators (Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-annually, Annually)
  • Calculate capital adequacy ratio and report to management periodically
  • Review daily commission revenue including the trade related postings in G/L
  • Monitor executed trade volume and cash position for the settlement
  • Manage tax related provisions and review tax returns/transfer pricing local file/payroll tax report
  • Take necessary action in compliance with segregate cash requirement
  • Internal control management
  • Ad hoc requirement from headquarter
  • Primary contact with regulators, external auditors and third party financial related advisors

[Requirements]

  • Japanese CPA, CTA or equivalent qualification
  • 8+ year experience in broker/dealer accounting and regulatory reporting in Japan
  • Knowledge of tax regulation in Japan (Corporate tax, consumption tax and transfer pricing tax)
  • Oracle or similar ERP system user experience highly preferred
  • Strong MS office skills (Excel, Power point, Word)
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, able to cope with tight deadlines under pressure
  • Proactive and hands-on
  • Excellent communication skills

[Language Requirement]

  • English Language level: Fluent
  • Japanese Language level: Fluent - Native Level (Equivalent to JLPT N1)
  • Work permission in Japan required

[Salary]
10~12 million JPY
