[Position] Head of Facility Management
[Location] Tokyo
[Salary] 14 million JPY ~ 18 million JPY (Experiences and skills will be considered)

  • Proactively coordinates with site BACs, CAT, FM team, and FM supplier(s) to achieve and maintain required service levels and KPI for assigned region

  • Develops strong working relationships with Site BACs, internal functional organizations, and supplier's Country Directors.

  • Coordinates with Corporate functions related to facility services like EHS and Security

  • Shares opportunities, achievements, Lessons Learned etc. with counterparts in other countries and with regional Lead

  • Delivers continuous improvements across the region logistics network to sustain operational excellence and best practices

  • Aligns metrics reporting with internal and external Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to achieve and maintain required service levels in all countries

  • Serves as the key liaison with the FM supplier(s)

  • Effectively communicates information to all sites (About 70 sites) within the country and proactively escalates issues and opportunities within the country Commercial FM governance structure

  • Supports local FM team in discussions with local divisions and businesses


  • Experience in Operations, Engineering, Program Management, Facilities Management combined experience in areas of manufacturing, engineering and project management with people and budgetary management of which a minimum of 10 years of experience should be around Facilities Management (preferably involving multiple locations)

  • Fluent Japanese and English

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required, preferably in technical discipline: Engineering, Sciences, and Operations Management

  • Possesses interpersonal skills to negotiate and reconcile differences, while optimizing overall divisional goals

  • Ability to execute continuous improvement projects across sites and divisions with tangible outcomes
