ESG Demand Generation & Marketing Engagement Manager, APAC (Marketing Manager)

Our Global ESG demand generation & marketing engagement specialists are producers of key marketing campaigns that support ESG commercial goals. The role will work under the direction of the Regional ESG Marketing Director, APAC in partnership with product managers, commercial partners and marketing colleagues from across our Global business divisions, to develop and implement of various campaigns to engage clients & prospects, drive lead generation, organize events, and align with the larger ESG business strategy. Key responsibilities include developing the annual demand generation plan for Japan & APAC, developing a strategic event engagement program in collaboration with the Global ESG Marketing Engagement Director, and executing multi-channel, thematic and persona-based campaigns that span digital, social, events and webinars.

・ Marketing communications - Design and implement creative, multi-channel ESG marketing programs that educate on the practical aspects of accelerating the transition to a low carbon, sustainable and equitable future taking into consideration the different information needs of regions, segments and persona. Localize the content from global and regional into Japan context that fits the target client segment.
・ Event operations & management - innovate and execute a virtual and in-person ESG event program, including webinars, roundtables and third-party conferences. This includes pre-event/ post communication, driving registrations, generating leads, and reporting on key event KPIs.
・ Campaign content - Produce engaging and differentiated web and advertising copy, social posts especially on LinkedIn, video content, and email campaigns aligned to the business' ESG growth strategy. Analyse and measure performance to maximize reach and effectiveness.
・ Sales enablement - Develop materials to help commercial teams communicate the value proposition of ESG products and support the selling process of those products.
・ Cross functional teams - Collaborate with cross-divisional marketing and functional teams to deliver joined-up ESG marketing activities and provide timely updates.
・ Support Korea marketing activities on a needed basis What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate will possess ESG marketing experience and demonstrate a keen interest in accelerating the transition to a low carbon, sustainable and equitable future. Strong written and communication skills are critical, as is the ability to be a strong individual leader and contributor. The candidate must demonstrate their ability to craft compelling messaging and leverage the full complement of marketing channels. Deep expertise and hand-on experience with technical platforms such as Marketo, Cvent, ON24, Zoom Pro, CrownPeak, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office (in particular PowerPoint), Event apps, Adobe (or comparable platforms) is desirable.
・ Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Marketing, Communications, Business or related field preferred)
・ Good understanding of ESG and Sustainability topics and trends
・ Fluent in Japanese (native level) and English
・ Experience in developing an annual marketing plan and budget; experience in budget management
・ Experience in writing marketing copy that clearly communicates a product's benefits and unique selling proposition
・ Knowledge of print, digital, social, and event channels used to build B2B marketing campaigns
・ Strong presentation skills and written and verbal communication skills
・ Excellent organizational and time management skills
・ Ability to work in a fast-paced and changeable environment
・ Ability to collaborate with others beyond one's reporting line
・ Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and Marketo marketing automation a plus
English Language level: Business level
Japanese Language level: Fluent - Native Level (Equivalent to JLPT N1)
Work permission in Japan required
10.5~11 million JPY
