Customer service



  • Order entry for local deliveries on the local ERP systems
  • Co-ordination with 3PL's on order processing, shipment of products and inventory levels
  • Support the migration of the current local ERP into SAP full implementation - timed assignment
  • Monitor shipping of goods and local deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining accurate logs of all transportation and goods
  • Track, analyse and report inventory, freight and other costing activities
  • Ensure that all activities are in line with the group's global customer service and logistics process and procedures
  • Process documentation of import & export to ensure that all of these documents are in order and properly and digitally filed
  • Provide sales and customer support
  • Complaint handling
  • A small part of general administration


  • Native level Japanese and fair level English both in writing and speaking
  • At least three (3) years of B2B work experience in customer service, supply chain, logistics, planning, inventory management or the like of business with tangible products
  • Experience in ERP systems such as SAP and SMILE
  • Capable of working in a fully-digitalised environment
  • Use of MS Teams and other MS 365 applications is a must
  • Capable of using on-line communication as a default
  • Work as a good part of the team spreading all over the group companies in Japan and other countries
  • Experience in the chemical or its related industry is a plus
