[Responsibilities]
Our Marketing manager acts as an ambassador for Brand, maximizing awareness of all brand launches and activities, and ensuring that the brand has excellent relationships with the media and all target audiences. He or she will ensure the planning and management of all marketing and communications functions and budgets including but not limited to: media and event planning, media relations, product/store launches, visual merchandising planning and implementation, multi-channel and coop advertising. He or she will work closely with the brand HQ to ensure alignment with the brand strategy and smooth coordination.

◆Communication & PR

  • Work closely with the Brand Manager to create and implement an effective communication strategy to reach both existing and potential customers, supporting retail
  • Develop excellent relationships within key media, and identify new partnership opportunities and maximizing editorial coverage
  • Manage the distribution of PR content - press releases, images, stories, etc.. to agreed media in collaboration with the Brand HQ teams
  • Manage the press sample collection and all editorial photo-shoots.
  • Manage requests for interviews with senior executives, working closely with the HQ

◆Events

  • Create an annual events strategy and plan working in line with the marketing objectives, managing the delivery of all press, boutique and retailer events, ensuring excellent editorial and commercial results
  • Create and organize all brand PR events to ensure that objectives are met
  • Work closely with the retail teams to implement an events plan to animate the boutique(s) and engage customers, prospects, press
  • Support all Brand international events, to invite the right guests to generate coverage
  • Identify suitable event and partnership opportunities that align with Brand values in order to reach new target audiences

◆Media

  • Define and implement the annual media plan, in line with the brand strategy and within the defined budget
  • Support the sales team in implementing co-op advertising initiatives with key retailers

◆Visual Merchandizing

  • Deploy up to date brand and product information as well as visual merchandizing material to all point of sales

◆Analytics

  • Monitor and maintain press clippings updating on a regular basis and report to the brand team and HQ.
  • Provide statistical analysis of all editorial results for review, analysis and to set future objectives with the brand manager
  • Produce reports that demonstrate key marketing analytics and demographics for use in brand presentation

[Requirements]

  • Strong Brand PR and marketing experience preferably in the luxury sector, with budget responsibility
  • Knowledge of the watch/jewelry industry is preferred
  • Experience in events management
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to build relationships with the HQ teams, as well as with retail and wholesale teams
  • Flexible approach to work and willing on occasion to stay away from home and make some international trips

[Language Requirement]

  • English Language level: Business level
  • Japanese Language level: Fluent - Native Level (Equivalent to JLPT N1)
  • Work permission in Japan required

[Salary]
7〜9.6 million JPY
