[Responsibilities]
The position will be responsible to build and maintain strong brands' awareness and promote our Products working with internal and external members.

Develop the brands and promote sales, to improve market share and profitability by devising, together with the local teams, a marketing strategy consistent with the Company main business plan. (Budget PLT Major Projects)
The candidate is expected to execute marketing activities which are listed below,

  • Implementing Overall brand strategy
  • Optimizing and protecting the company's brand assets, and improving the brand image
  • Drawing up the Marketing budget (1 year) and Long-Term Plan (3 years) based on external and internal market analysis, supplying a monthly report on marketing expenditure
  • Coordinating and supervising implementation of marketing plans for existing and new products/brands
  • Recommending new product & channel development based on analytics and market trends
  • Reporting on market potential & related changes to consider the international dimension in product development
  • Carrying out a pre-analysis for needs of new products/services for the market
  • Establishing sales forecasts for new product launches after coordination with local sales managers
  • Proposing innovative marketing solution to strengthen our brands' equity
  • Coordinating with all internal divisions, vendors, and warehouses
  • Developing OEM products
  • Planning PR with Senior Marketing manager and PR /Communication staff

◆Sales Growth

  • Liaison with HQ for Mktg policy components
  • New Products: launch calendar & content
  • Coordination with local sales team on all Mktg & promotional plans
  • Planning & adaptation of sales tools
  • Training of distributors sales forces on going institutional & specific for new products
  • Planning & Implementation of Promotions for markets
  • Trade shows management (space booking Booth planning & execution) & follow-Up
  • Coordination and if needed adaptation of global marketing & sales tools
  • Coordination with Ecole Japan for various marketing activities

◆Budget Management

  • Local marketing & Promotional Budget management & reporting
  • Assessment of efficiency of budget spent on promotions & new products launches
  • Reporting of all marketing & promotional expenditure for analysis with hierarchy

◆Market monitoring (Trends Products & services Competition)

  • Monitor markets trends & new movements, opportunities
  • Manage local market studies and select studies suppliers in coordination with Global MKG team
  • Feedback on current & future trends
  • Competitors Update / Competitors prices

[Requirements]

  • At least 10 years of experience in Marketing with focus in premium brand and product management (Food or luxury industry preferable)
  • Deep understanding of brand and product marketing concepts
  • Experience in marketing strategy planning
  • Experience in executing Trade or Consumer promotion and product launch
  • An in-depth Knowledge of the marketing mix variables
  • Familiar with digital marketing
  • Good understanding of marketing communication
  • Able to represent the company & it's values: Has a sense of style, a certain flair & the ability to work comfortably in luxury environments such as 5* hotels for example
  • Business level English in both oral and written communication
  • Analytical skill to evaluate marketing activities and data
  • Strong communication skills
  • Critical thinker, problem-solving skills, flexible, multi-national mindset
  • Self-starter, organized, and creative
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with various inputs and outputs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Interest in fine foods and chocolates
  • University degree

[Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities]

  • A good knowledge of baking cake and cooking
  • A good understanding of fine food (fine food restaurants, wine tasting, etc...)
  • A knowledge of the world of Chefs & their trade associations
  • French Language skills
  • Working experience at French or European companies
