[Responsibilities]
Summary
Reporting directly to Sr. Manager BPR, Internal Controls & IT Solutions, this person will be responsible for supporting execution of BPR (Business Process Reengineering) initiatives as PMO and SME for Japan's NSC (National Service Center), a company which provides Finance, HR, Legal, Purchasing and Administrative services.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Support projects "hands-on" as PMO and SME for BPR and related initiatives
    • Engage with all levels of NSC members and other stakeholders
    • Be counterpart for Global HQ with regards to global initiatives to implement systems/processes or improve operational efficiency
  • Understand and analyze As-Is operation of all areas of NSC
    • Identify the processes and understand the existing operation through interviews and documentation review
    • Document existing processes with end-to-end perspective
    • Identify the processes for redesign and improvements
  • Support designing To-Be processes with all teams of NSC
    • Apply knowledge and understanding of process improvement approaches to train and/or facilitate working sessions regarding business processes
    • Assess the impact and feasibility of changes to the way of work in NSC as well as other stakeholders
    • Develop a detailed plan for implementation
  • Support implementation activities to accomplish project objectives
    • Provide training and technical assistance as necessary
    • Monitor and evaluate process improvements upon and after implementation

[Requirements]

  1. Fluent level of Business English skill in speaking, writing and reading
  2. At least 3 years of relevant experience in BPR and business process improvement
  3. At least 5 years of experience in back office operations, consulting or in a field related to the scope of this position
  4. Ability to adapt well in a fast-paced environment and comfortable in handling uncertainty or the lack of established precedence
  5. A logical approach to problem solving and a good understanding of continuous improvement processes
  6. Attention to detail and passion for delivering outstanding service
  7. Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (Visio is a plus)
