[Responsibilities]
Purpose of Role:
This role will be supporting deal execution, portfolio management, and reporting duties. There will also be opportunity to source deals and participate in other projects.
Your key responsibilities:
This role works in the team to support senior staff in identifying, analysing and monitoring investments. Much of the time is spent under the supervision of deal leaders.
Market & Company Analysis
Conduct desktop and primary research (surveys, interviews, company meetings, etc.) to gather information about market size, key players, their management teams, suppliers, customers, products, etc.
Analyze financial data (company financials, comparables, etc). to forecast business, industry, and economic conditions
Draw charts and graphs to illustrate financial reports and analysis
Sourcing
Continuously and systematically build, maintain and apply one's:
Network of deal sources with constructive and cooperative working relationships (VCs, entrepreneurs, strategics, professional networks, academic institutions, etc.)
Knowledge in one or more domains
Knowledge of recent developments in general business, finance, and economic theory
Investment Judgment
Screen deals with selection criteria set by senior staff
Deal Execution (Investment Process)
Due Diligence:
Conduct desktop and primary research (surveys, interviews, company meetings, etc.) to gather information about market size, key players, their management teams, suppliers, customers, products, etc.
Valuation :
Gather relevant data to produce cap tables and detailed valuation models.
Deal Structure & Negotiation:
Gather relevant data to produce scenario analyses.
Documentation:
Gather relevant data to write different types of investment recommendations (Level 0's, 1's, memos and I-comm decks)
Draw charts and graphs to illustrate financial reports and analysis
Assist in completing and processing all relevant deal documentation
Exits:
Gather relevant data to analyze different exit scenarios. May do preliminary analysis.

Portfolio Management
Monitor fundamental economic, industrial, and corporate developments by analyzing information obtained from financial publications and services, investment banking firms, government agencies, trade publications, company sources, and personal interviews
Gather and interpret data affecting investments, such as price, yield, stability, future trends in investment risks, economic influences
Analyze and monitor investees' key performance metrics every month
Assist in projects such as financing events, strategic reviews, etc.
Liaise with working level of investees
[Requirements]
Your skills and experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. (Master's degree would be a plus.)
2-10 years of work experience, preferably with some investment banking or consulting experience (management consultants will be considered if financial modelling skills are strong)
Preference will be given to those with demonstrated interest in venture capital and technology or healthcare sectors
Excellent mathematical and financial skills. Able to use these skills to solve complex problems.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience working in a multicultural environment
