[Responsibilities]

  • Provide strategic HR business support to line managers based on data, insight & knowledge thus contribute to achieving key business objectives
  • Drive key HR initiatives together with CoEs and line leaders
  • Play a key role in annual review cycle including performance management processes to have an objective assessment
  • Monitor overall turnover and new hire turnover (less than 1 year) and take necessary measures to tackle the potential issues
  • Keep discussing with the line leaders whether the current structure is optimal and any future needs of the structural changes
  • Clearly understand the present and future staffing needs based on the evolving business needs
  • Monitor and coordinate progress of recruitment process with recruiting team to expedite processes and to find right talent
  • Conduct job interviews for certain level and above based on the policy
  • Identify key talents and make sure to monitor and minimize retention risks and take necessary/proactive actions such as regular 1:1s and exit interviews

[Requirements]

  • Minimum 10 years of HRBP experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of local labor law and practices
  • Good understanding on general HR practices in recruitment, compensation/benefits, talent management, performance management and learning and development
  • English and Japanese proficiency in both written and spoken

  • Experience in retail or ecommerce or Start-up
