Global US Consumer company

Primary responsibilities are to:

  • Responsibility of statutory financial statement preparation
  • Manage and coordinate the monthly / quarterly and annual management closing process
  • Ensure statutory tax and VAT compliance
  • Manage the accounting team (accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, accounting)
  • Lead/Participate in finance projects

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate month end closing process
  • Tax return preparation
  • Compliance with Internal Control and SOX
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Treasury Management
  • Annual 10K, FTCQ reporting
  • Transfer Pricing management
  • Monitoring Physical Inventory Count twice a year
  • People Management, PM&D
  • Ad hoc global finance project

Education/ Experience

  • Minimum education: Bachelor degree in Finance / Economy / Accounting (Master degree preferable)
  • Experience requirements: 5 years or more in Finance/Accounting in an international company

Expected Areas of Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong communication skills to be able to work effectively with management and other functions
  • English communication skills to work with Finance Director and Global Headquarters
  • Strong PC skills, including Windows and spreadsheet applications (Google Sheets and Excel)
  • SAP experience an advantage

    • Enforces proper documentation and approval procedures
  • Financial Analysis and Business Insights
    • Develops effective analyses that consider data such as trends, comparisons and ratios to generate business insights
    • Introduces analyses with a summary of the data and a narrative description of what is included
    • Thoroughly reviews own work before passing it on to others
  • Leveraging Systems and Technology
    • Thoroughly learn and consistently apply the SAP transaction codes for your area
    • Demonstrates thorough understanding of end-to-end processes
    • Improve business application system skills (e.g., Google Sheet, Excel files, SAP scripts)
    • Constantly monitors accuracy of systems-provided information
