[Responsibilities]
The EC Key Account Manager will be responsible for delivering the target P&L for Rakuten & Lohaco: top line gross sales, trade spend management and net sales. (S)he will be a platform expert, in charge of promotion planning and will lead JBP and Business reviews.

1) Responsible for delivering quarterly & yearly target P&L:

  • Participate in company monthly operating cycle: forecast and trade spend management,
  • Update on risks & opportunities, and propose plan and adjustments to deliver the target.

2) Lead relationship with buyer team:

  • Organize and lead JBP & MBR/QBR,
  • Promotion planning including participation in events to acquire new shoppers,
  • Propose and execute platform specific SKU (eg. bundles).

3) Closely collaborate with EC team's Media & Analytics manager and Content & UX
manager to ensure delivery of in-platform media plan and content improvement.

4) Be the platform expert: Available tools, data, shopper and category information, subplatforms (eg. PayPay Mall, Askul B2B).

[Requirements]

  • 大学卒業以上
  • ネイティブレベルの日本語力・ビジネスレベル以上のの英語力
  • Minimum of combined 5 years in: Manufacturer EC KAM currently in charge of Rakuten/Lohaco, or work experience as EC platform Buyer or Merchandizing manager.
  • This role requires to be able to conduct EC Retail negotiations and planning based on multiple factors: platform KPIs and manufacturer KPIs, online promotion & media plan, and deep understanding of the EC formula (online sales = traffic x CVR x AOV).
  • The EC Key Account Manager is a good negotiator based on data, with strong analytical & planning skills. (S)he will also display strong ownership and have a holistic view that encompasses sales, logistics and customer experience.
