Transformation is responsible managing and delivering change and technology investment for the company. We provide resource, project, and portfolio management services, process' and governance to effectively deliver change for the company. We provide business and financial management and insights for Technology and change; We aim to build and support best in practice Agile delivery organization through our Agile COE and recruiting, training, and developing our people. We lead the digitalization and automation of our process' and reporting to provide actionable insights and drive efficiency across Technology.

Summary:
The Project Management Lead, reporting to the Head of Transformation, will be responsible for leading a team of Project Managers to plan, execute and deliver the projects.

As the Project Management Lead you will support ongoing governance and methodology changes to execute projects. This position will work closely with the other Transformation & Technology teams, as well as C-level executives and other divisions involved in delivering change to support the successful delivery of projects.

The successful candidate will have solid project management and leadership skills to successfully deliver projects on time, within budget and to a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities:

• Effectively applies project management methodologies and enforces project standards to deliver projects on time, budget and scope to a high level of quality
• Provide training and guidance to other teams across the organization that join projects in a supporting role to lift the overall organizations project management maturity level
• Ensure that projects are delivered in a cost effective and financially sustainable manner
• Develop and apply best practices and tools for project execution and management reporting
• Attract the right people to work in the team while developing and retaining talent
• Ensure that appropriate performance management and backup planning is in place
• Minimizes exposure and risk on projects through maintaining proper oversight of the project team's adherence to project management practices
• Drives a high level of customer satisfaction through successful project delivery to a high quality and building good relationships

[Requirement]

• 5 plus years of project management experience
• Demonstrated ability to develop and introduce innovations to project management
• Demonstrated team management skills but also an ability to work productively in teams, building cohesive environments
• Excellent project management, leadership and human relations skills
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization
• Experience in the Insurance/Finance industries preferred
• Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making and strategic project thinking
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with stakeholders from all levels
• Highly detail oriented and able to work autonomously
• Solid understanding of project finances
• Good meeting, presentation and workshop facilitation skills
• Fluent Japanese and Business English
