The Pricing Strategy will be responsible to achieve company's Pricing & Access objectives for the pipeline portfolio
The Pricing Strategy closely work with cross-functional teams locally but also with Global Mission / Access, Pricing and External Engagement as well as Regional cross-functional teams to inform the development of global materials, and to adapt these for the local strategy and value proposition operationalisation to achieve target pricing and access outcomes. The Pricing Strategy will have a clear view on Japanese ecosystem opportunities and challenges, and ensure alignment with global / regional strategies.
Central to the role will be maintaining a clear view on priority opportunities to focus on, developing Japanese ecosystem insight at the appropriate level of depth, anticipating access landscape evolution and articulating local ecosystem needs, including evidence relevant to demonstrate product value.
The Pricing Strategy will draw on these insights to identify Japan priorities and associated pricing and access strategy, communicate needs with Global / Regional teams, enable pricing and access launch excellence preparation in Japan (with clarity on critical success factors, a proactive engagement plan, relevant supportive evidence, value materials tailored to Japanese ecosystem needs and stakeholders), and support the Japanese Patient Value Brand Plans and other planning processes.
