Operations Manager of the Customer Logistics Division

The Operations Team of the Customer Logistics Division is responsible for ensuring that the logistics operations that support the business are consistently shared with all stakeholders and that the company's top/bottom line and various KPIs are achieved.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise multiple teams that make up the operations of the Customer Logistics Division.
  • Prioritize the work of the operations teams and allocate resources in an optimal manner in order to maximize the efficiency of the operations of the Customer Logistics department and achieve the productivity, numerical and qualitative goals of the operations teams.
  • Accurately and promptly identify the services expected from the business side, and prepare, plan, and implement the human and material resources to realize them.
  • Lead the operations team to explore and implement all possibilities to become a service provider that offers the most efficient logistics services to the business in comparison to other companies' services.
  • Leads the team to keep abreast of the business environment in an accurate and timely manner and to stay abreast of the latest logistics information to ensure that we continue to provide the best solutions to the business' expectations.
  • Develop excellent human resources, and aim to produce them in other divisions as needed. We will also invite talented people from outside the company to raise the level of our team's capabilities.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or engineering preferred
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in business or related field, or 10+ years of relevant large scale logistics center industry experience

Background and experience:

  • "Excellent knowledge and experience (3+ years) in supervisory responsibility for large scale logistics operations, especially in the form of direct shipments to customers, and experience in guiding leaders in comparable operations
  • Knowledge and experience (3+ years) in directing inventory and/or quality control areas of logistics operations including inventory control, analysis, and systems.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in multiple inventory or quality control operations.
  • Financial analyst, inventory accounting, cost accounting, internal audit, and related financial knowledge in a finance department.

Language Requirement:

  • English Language level: Business level
  • Japanese Language level: Fluent - Native Level (Equivalent to JLPT N1)
  • Work permission in Japan required

7.5~9.5 million JPY
