[Company Description]

  • 循環器・ニューロモデュレーション関連の製品を扱っています

Reporting to the Director Medical Affairs Neuromodulation (DMA NM) International, the Medical Science Liaison NM Japan is crucial in deploying the medical strategy in the field with the goal of increasing the practical and scientific knowledge of HCPs on our NM therapies thereby improving the standard of use and expanding the use of our NM therapies.

As such, the MSL represents the main point of contact for HCPs for high-level medical and technical information in Japan.

The MSL NM makes field visits to centers offering our NM therapies where necessary to ensure a high level of knowledge and execution of the therapy as well as to ensure a high surgical standard of the center. Especially new centers initiating a medical program with our NM therapies may require frequent and intensified support by the MSL NM, therefore making the MSL a key figure in market development activities. Furthermore, the MSL NM holds high-level presentations and trainings at our educational events for HCPs and is responsible for organizing such events in collaboration with local commercial teams and in the context of the local commercial strategy.

The MSL NM attends the most important conferences in her/his region were she/he makes herself/himself available at the our booth as a [non-commercial] representative of medical affairs and attends the scientific program. The insights that the MSL gains in the field and at conferences is an important element contributing to the medical, clinical and R&D strategy.

Furthermore, the MSL NM plays a central role in internal scientific and technical education supporting the marketing team and sales managers by training sales teams and distributors at local team meetings or at EU NM franchise events as well as during initial trainings of new employees. Together with the DMA and medical affairs (MA) team the MSL is also involved in creating and continuously updating such training materials.

As the MA team is responsible for answering medical, technical and scientific queries from HCPs, the MSL NM has responsibility for creating standard response documents (SRDs).

Also the MSL is responsible for developing individual KOLs in her/his region and collaborating with HCPs on data collection and publications. The MSL is a vital position for execution of the NM clinical strategy by leveraging her/his scientific expertise and by collaborating with HCPs on scientific projects in the field.

Finally, the MSL NM plays an important role in launching new our NM products, which involves being the first in the region to be trained on the handling of the new product and then creating training materials and hosting trainings for our employees and HCPs alike.

Evolution to senior MSL requires successful execution of more strategic, global or administrative projects in collaboration with internal customers and collaborators such as responsibility for LBS excellence, safety officer for a clinical trial or safety monitoring for a regulatory body, being the key MA representative in the design of a clinical trial etc.
