[Responsibilities]
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Identify Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and establish, foster, cultivate, and maintain relationships with KOLs in academic and community centers.
- Develop and execute territory plans in alignment with regional, national, and global Medical Affairs strategies.
- Act as the primary point of contact and facilitator for investigators interested in developing and performing investigator sponsored research, from submission, review and approval, through study activation/completion and publication.
- Provide insights/feedback on emerging scientific/clinical data that enhance the value and appropriate use of our products to internal stakeholders.
- Present appropriate clinical and scientific information to healthcare providers in response to unsolicited requests (as appropriate) in a fair and balanced manner, in both group and one-on-one situations.
- Collaborate with other internal departments to support our sponsored trials through enrollment support, trial site recommendations, and maintaining contact with investigators who are participating in our ongoing studies.
- Present scientific/clinical information on our products to formulary committees and/or payers, in collaboration with Market Access.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, clinical treatment trends, clinical trials, and scientific activities within areas of interest to the Company ie: oncology and hematology.
- Provide relevant medical and scientific information and literature, within corporate guidelines, for healthcare provider education.
- Professionally represent the Company at select medical and scientific conferences and meetings.
[Requirements]
- Advanced scientific/medical Degree (Pharm D, PhD, MD) preferred but Master's degree is also acceptable.
- Experience in managing outsourcing of Clinical Development would be a plus.
- 2-5 years Field Medical or Hematology experience preferred
- Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
- If MSL with CRO background:
- Oncology/Hematology experience NOT required.
- If CRA with CRO background:
- Master degree or the above required.
- Oncology/Hematology experience &/or knowledge required.
- If Nurse or Pharmacist:
- Experience working at business company required (hospital only not acceptable).
- Oncology/Hematology experience &/or knowledge required.
- Strong compliance knowledge and adherence to corporate compliance.
- Current working knowledge of country-specific legal, regulatory, and compliance regulations and guidelines relevant to industry interactions with healthcare professionals.
