GNS Marketing Manager
GNS (Global Network Services) operates in all regions globally to drive scale and relevance for our brand through our Issuing and acquiring partners.
The Manager, Marketing - Japan, will play an integral role in the GNS Global Product and Marketing team to create strong value for our Issuing Partners. The successful candidate would be an experienced marketer who will work closely with Business Development teams and Centres of Excellence (COEs) within the company and our external partners to deliver strong business results.
Key responsibilities will include:
・ Day-to-day relationship lead to issuing partners' marketing departments, as it relates to key activities (e.g. new product development, product refreshes, local benefit activation, perception of coverage, etc.)
・ Manage diverse set of partners, driving prioritization of key growth levers working closely with the Business Development teams
・ Work with Global Marketing Center Of Excellence (COEs) to ensure global approach is replicated across marketing in Japan
・ Ensure marketing campaigns align with company's strategic objectives, and are informed by research, analytics and metrics
・ Develop deep understanding of competitive landscape and partners under purview
・ Previous experience in product management/development, marketing, strategic development or related areas is a requirement
・ Knowledge of issuer marketing and proven practical achievements is an advantage
・ Strong innovative marketer who can translate marketing ideas into clear marketing tactics / actions. Superb analytical skills and financial acumen. Commercial mind-set.
・ Superior project management skills/organizational skills and ability to multitask in delivering complex initiatives
・ Strong communication skills and ability to create and deliver persuasive high impact presentations
・ Effective at influencing and managing cross functional stakeholders and external partners
・ Understanding of cultural differences and how those should be considered in driving decisions and actions.
・ Passionate customer focus with a growth mindset and determination to succeed. Energetic and optimistic team player
・ High energy, strong will to win, self-starter. Able to thrive in a fast paced, fluid environment
・ Native level of Japanese and business level of English
