About the Role
The Mobility Operations team is responsible for bringing our vision to life in Japan. Day to day, they are responsible for strategy creation and execution for our Driver and Rider focused activities. Operations are all about running our business on the ground and helping our driver-partners and riders get the most out of our platform.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager who will lead the growth of strategic fleet partnerships in Japan. You deeply understand our partners; build strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers throughout the organization, and effectively identify and exploit opportunities to improve core business metrics for our partners and for the company.
The ideal candidate has customer-facing experience at executive levels and has a strong track record of delivery against commercial business targets with evidence of growing existing partners as well as the acquisition of new ones.
Examples of areas you will be working on are understanding the business structure of Taxi and Hire companies, driver preferences, and behavior, segmenting our driver base, boosting our driver acquisition, engagement, and retention efforts, tailoring our value proposition to driver needs and deciding on new products launch approach and timeline.

Own partner relationships to achieve supply targets of your partners and deepen engagement through pursuing mutual business value.
Be the voice of the customer to internal partners - translate their needs and advocate on their behalf.
Set, track, and report on performance metrics of fleet partners, run timely business reviews and implement joint business planning.
Play a key role in building out the account management function in the Rides team, implementing findings, processes, and tools from previous roles.
Work to optimize the driver and fleet experience. You'll understand their requirements, issues and strive to tackle them. You'll want them to get as much out of our platform to ensure their success!
Lead several key projects enhancing engagement with fleet partners and improving drivers and fleet experience
You'll craft and execute the vision, strategy, and day to day tactics for taxi partner acquisition and engagement, through data-centric analytics.
You will work collaboratively with local, regional, and global stakeholders to improve the platform experience
You'll empower the team to continually level up their results, expectations, and stretch for increasingly higher levels of impact across all core operational metrics
You'll work closely with the Driver Lead, Rider Lead, Product Lead, and Marketplace Lead to achieve common goals
---- Basic Qualifications ----
Minimum 3 years of deep, hands-on management of functions that included combinations of the following: operations, product, analytics, marketing and data driven CRM programs. Candidates with different years of experience will also be considered

Data-first problem solver with sound business judgment and proven experience acquiring and engaging users in a commercially no-nonsense way
Exceptional project management skills. You have proven ability to lead initiatives at your organization
Full proficiency in Japanese and business level English is required
Experience working closely and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders
English Language level: Business level
Japanese Language level: Fluent - Native Level (Equivalent to JLPT N1)
Work permission in Japan required
Base salary 17-21 million JPY + Bonus (4.3 million expected) +RSU (2~4 million expected)
