Credit Analyst

[Responsibilities]

  • Analyze credit fundamentals and valuation on Japanese corporate bond issuers such as industrial companies and financial institutions

  • Make investment recommendations on new issues with presentation to domestic and overseas portfolio managers and traders

  • Regular monitoring of holding names and providing trade recommendations

[Requirements]
Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a credit analyst for Japanese corporate bond issuers.

Skills:

  • Analytical skill on credit fundamentals and relative values of Japanese corporate bond issuers

  • Expertise in the Japanese public bond and credit market.

  • Proficiency in utilizing business applications such as Microsoft Office and information vendor terminals like Bloomberg.

Preferable:

  • Credit coverage exposure to either industrial (e.g. automobile, machinery) or basic material (e.g. iron & steel, chemical) sectors

  • Experience investing in credit products at investment management companies

  • Investment experiences in other types of financial products such as structured finance, public equities or foreign bonds

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above

Language:

  • Japanese: Native

  • English: Business (TOEIC 900 ~ equivalent), writing, reading, speaking and listening

Personality:

  • Collaborative in a team setting.

  • Exhibit a strong level of professionalism, accountability, and inquisitiveness.

[Working Hours]
09:00~17:00 7 Working hour per day
※1 hour break
Flex time: Core time 11:00-2pm

[Salary]
10-15 million JPY + Bonus
