MAIN PURPOSE
Purpose of the role is to plan and implement overall events, promotions and in-store animations in order to reach company targets as well as to provide brand experiences to clients and general consumers and set targets. A person at this position reports to Marketing & Communication Director, and has one subordinate who is in charge of VMD to work together to conduct trade marketing activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. DEVELOP EVENT/PROMOTION PLANNING

  • Develop event/promotion planning based on Marketing Strategy, 360 activation plan linked with product launch timing and company objectives
  • Develop event contents attracting targets while proving brand experience and to help improving level of understanding of the brand - Events includes in-store events, seasonal boutique animations, POS events, POP-UP store, out of store venues
  • nimate boutiques to support generating traffic
  • Explore new venues to implement appropriate events for press, VICs and general consumers according to set objectives in aligned with the company branding
  • Manage agencies, fixtures and any other resources efficiently
  • Control event budget carefully in terms of ROI

2. MANAGE/EXECUTE EVENT PLANS and REPORT

  • Execute events/fairs seamlessly and in a consistent manner with key message of each event delivered to targets
  • Ensure excellence in execution to keep the standard of the brand in every single event
  • Closely work with Retail, Operation, Marketing & Communication teams and lead the projects with clear goal of each event
  • Report event results, make review of events in detail and share the results with HQ
  • Monitor competitors' event activities

3. MANAGE PRINT COLLATERALS

  • Manage print collaterals, including production of catalogs, leaflets, direct mailing materials etc., proofreading and stock management

4. OVERSEA VMD

  • Develop a VMD plan aligned with Marketing Strategies
  • Ensure consistent VMD at all channels
  • Propose local needs to HQ and monitor competitors work/initiatives

  • Strong project management skills, Multi-task
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written & oral, in Japanese and English
  • Flexible and open-minded, team player
  • Result oriented
  • Luxury retail, jewelry retail experiences, clienteling /consumer-centric mindset desirable
  • Time management, organized, proactive
  • Ability to maintain professional relationships with internal and external partners
  • Fluent English speaking and writing skills is mandatory
  • Computer skills in MS office
