[Responsibilities]
・Manages accounts within Inkjet Colorants and Inkjet Inks market segment in Asia North and performs all aspects of Sales function, including technical services.
Develops volume and revenue forecasts, sales plans strategies for achieving desired results.
・Effectively communicates and negotiates complex sales contracts with customers.
Educates customers on new products and product enhancements; articulates and presents product features and benefits.
Develops and maintains business relationships often involving high levels of management.
・Manages new business strategies and introduction of new products.
・Provides consultative services to customers, acting as technical resource providing solutions for product-related issues.
Leverages and coordinates resources within the region in order to provide technical services support to customer as needed. May provide technical training for customers.
・Develops marketing and sales strategies for territory or region. Identifies opportunities for increasing sales and/or pursuit new business.
Develops and implements plans and programs. Obtains information regarding customers' present and anticipated needs, identifying opportunities for increased sales.
Provides leadership that assists management in setting strategic initiatives and programs to achieve corporate strategies.
・Leads the company's efforts to establish levels of excellence in sales and distributor management and customer service.
・Develops business cases on new application such as Industrial Inkjet Printing including strategic rationale, fit and overall business plan and current asset base,
financial returns, risk and mitigations, timeline, resources needed. Develops and delivers a business plan for specific market opportunity.
Critically reviews progress against plan to continuously assess commercial potential, making adjustments as necessary in order to assure acceptable profitability.
・Identifies and develops potential internal and external strategic partners in development of these opportunities.
Works closely with cross-functional counterparts (Marketing/Sales, Finance, R&D, Legal, Manufacturing, Corp/Business Strategy) and
provides project leadership in the development and implementation of plans and strategies to ensure successful introduction of products.
Determines, assesses, and understands the tradeoffs of various approaches. Communicates status of projects and identifies / leverages appropriate internal resources.
