Global Food Company
1 Lead, direct, and control the day-to-day activities of the plant to achieve the short and medium-term financial and operating objectives set by the overall corporate business plan.
Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of functional and operational managers or other professionals (for example in human resources, finance, production, maintenance) to ensure that the plant meets its established targets and standards.
Responsible for activities such as:
- quality control,
- supply and logistics,
2 Establish operating budgets & KPI's to achieve the targets
Monitor the cost and effectiveness of production activities to optimize
resources, prioritize spending, and achieve volume, quality, and manufacturing standards.
Set, and monitor the performance of the plant against standards and targets in areas such as manufacturing and administration efficiency, cost control (budget process, controlling, measurement, KPI management), legal compliance, and human resource management.
3 Continuous Improvement:
Develop and drive the implementation of a variety of operating policies and procedures (in conjunction with corporate subject matter experts) to ensure that the plant meets it current and future production targets and quality standards. Allocate labor and capital resources to maximize productivity. Research, evaluate, and recommend investments in technology, capital, equipment, systems, or other assets that will enhance the plant's production capabilities
4 Human resources:
Lead and build the site team and coordinate the development of capabilities.
5 Strategic project development:
Set short and medium term strategy for the plant in line with OSCO strategy including Continuous Improvement, Quality and Safety.
Responsible for execution of regional and corporate projects as well as legal compliance and risk management for site.
6 Supply Chain:
Ensure in- and outbound materials are in line with agreed requirements.
7 Public relations:
Manages all key stakeholder relationships for the site.
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Food Science or similar
2 Experience (type)
12+ years of experience in a production environment including food
manufacturing methods, process improvement program and procedures
3 Knowledge or specific business understanding
Knowledgeable in MS Office Suite and SAP
Strong technical background with business and people management skills
Experience in Project Management and Leadership
Continuous Improvement - Intermediate (including Capex)
