Partner Executive reports to Japan Country Manager, to develop, manage and grow new business model with strategic partners for our product portfolio to achieve or exceed Business Unit expectations.
In line with company goals, they are the expert in developing business model with strategic partners such as server hardware vendors (both global and Japanese), systems integrators, ISVs and CSPs (cloud service providers), in the area of the latest open source technologies.
Partner Executives are senior business development professionals who understand how to match business solutions with partners.
These individuals will also have strong internal networks and a proven ability to creatively apply those resources to meet partner needs.
They are an expert in account management and to assure the partners to achieve their strategic goals in win-win relationship.
-Team player with a positive attitude and self-starter
-At least 7 years of experience as an IT sales, including at least one experience in related industry* is mandatory. Any resume which does not match this criteria will not be considered for interview.
-Preferable knowledge/understanding in Linux/Open Source software sales model.
-Technical knowledge about OpenStack, Ceph, Container and strong network in those communities is a strong plus.
-Technical knowledge about SAP HANA or HPC, and strong network in those communities is also a strong plus.
-Ability to build strong relationships within partners.
-Accurate forecasting and reporting.
-A hands-on sales person.
-Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
-Exemplary work ethic with a proven and verifiable track record of meeting and exceeding revenue quota in a major account sales role
-Strategic thinking, aggressive, fast-acting. Has strong passion to achieve goals every year.
-Fluent Japanese and business level English skill is mandatory
-Ability to travel abroad.
*'Related industry' includes Linux, OpenStack, CloudStack, SDS, SDN, other open source software in infrastructure layer, HPC and SAP HANA. For example, an experience of selling a server hardware on which SAP and/or Linux O/S was running, is not sufficient to meet this requirement.
