You are responsible for setting and executing a market growth strategy to drive user growth at scale while maximising revenue. As an individual contributor you work closely with the Squad lead who is a peer and manages the execution of the strategy. As strategy and execution are intrinsically connected you will work extremely closely with the team to have a deep understanding on what it takes to execute and deliver.

・Bachelor's Degree level
・5+ years' previous job experience as a manager or above ideally within an internet economy business with proven success in driving significant growth
・Excellent communication skills both in Japanese and English
・Have a great knowledge of the Japan digital landscape with a solid understanding of consumer behaviours in this market/area
・Be knowledgeable about the strategies required to win in the Japanese market, in terms of product, traffic acquisition, growth tactics, monetisation, etc. for both web and app
・With hands on experience in the development and implementation of activity in a minimum of two of the following channels: SEO, ASO, Paid Digital, Email marketing, referral marketing, App related specialisms (ASO, Paid app acquisition, App re-engagement and onboarding)
・Growth hacking mentality; Product led, data driven, highly creative with the ability to review and revise campaign strategy in light of sales figures, surveys, etc. and take appropriate corrective measures if necessary
・Proficient in a range of tools across the marketing stack, including Tableau, Mixpanel, Appflyer,
・Google Analytics (even better if you have basic programming skills in the likes of SQL and Python to start taking this to the next level)
・Understand a 2-sided marketplace and how to drive growth among 2 or more distinct user groups
・Experience of working in a lean and agile environment with hands on experience of relevant techniques and tools
・Self-driven with fantastic organisational skills, integrity and great follow through on tasks without getting overwhelmed easily
・Curious, innovative, extremely creative and constantly looking for ways to tweak and optimise
・Be an enthusiastic and authentic leader and team player who works collaboratively and helps other in the team
・Social media enthusiasm, passion for excellent content, awareness of cultural differences and tone of voice. Responsible and comfortable with accountability
・Be familiar with the majority of social platforms around the world and have significant experience with the main Japanese social networks
・Be a true T-shaped professional who can go deep into digital marketing, make decisions based on data and understand how to develop and implement sustainable growth strategies
Full Time Employee
