・Arrange export shipments of air and marine cargoes from Japan and all other Asia-Pacific countries
(except for mainland China) to Saudi Arabia through the use of third-party logistics services, which must be conducted in accordance with company procedures & administrative manuals;
・Work closely with Procurement and Quality Inspection teams for executing export transactions efficiently;
・Work closely with the nominated freight forwarder for planning the best shipment option to Saudi Arabia;
・Work closely with vendors/suppliers for obtaining correct shipping documents;
・Ensure correct and timely data entry into SAP system
・Answer inquiries from parent's company customers on logistics issues and delivery status;
・Expedite shipping arrangements abiding by customer demands;
・Maintain / enhance procedural control through periodical update on the desk procedure contents.
・Administer / develop the logistics service contract with freight forwarders;
・Strategically develop the plan for procuring logistics contract, and execute a set of actions in a collaboration with Contracting Unit.
・Supervise Global Travel Services operation that is outsourced to third-party travel agency who provides travel services from onsite office within the company.
・Trouble-shoot operational issue and user compliant
・Maintain / develop the Travel Service contract with travel agency
・Negotiate and conclude discount agreements with airline companies to reduce cost for travel expenses by leveraging the overall spend in Asia-Pacific region;
・University graduate in business or relevant discipline
・Minimum 5-10 years of professional engagement to international logistics expertise
・Have an extensive background in logistics business ranging from export, import, and triangular trade (But, not limited)
・Analytical skills on financial data to identify the target area for cost reduction
・Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder influencing skills
・Ability / desire to work in a multi-cultural, multi-territory environment
・Fluent in English and Japanese
・Engage colleagues across the team, department and organization to optimize performance
・PC skills (SAP, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
