Learning Specialist at Global Health Care Company
・Leverages a variety of instructional, facilitation and presentation methods and applications to accommodate adult learning styles
・Facilitates primarily "of-the-shelf" content and occasionally custom designed content
・Leverages both learning content and business acumen to facilitate learnings and meaningful dialogue with participants for programs, including coaching
・Manages classroom environment and adapt instructional style for different audiences
・Participates in and/or helps conduct Train the Trainer sessions to extended facilitation community across Medtronic
・Maintain relationships, contact and communication with learning program participants and cohorts for coaching, follow-up and continuity of blended learning completions
・Administers learning evaluations and assessments to ensure targeted levels of effectiveness and impact of learning programs
・Ensures learning content is delivered as designed and make specific recommendations to curriculum and portfolio managers to continually improve the global content and design
・Contributes to the overall success of the Learning Center of Excellence team by identifying ways to continuously improve the learning process and enhance learning effectiveness
・Understand local learning needs and effectively communicate the GLLD offering to fulfill the needs, and design and manage local Leaning & Development programs by working closely with local Talent Management & Development team.
・Perform activities in compliance with the local Quality System.
・Supports new learning program design and development initiatives, that includes to assure the quality of translated materials by reviewing the Japanese translation or occasionally translate materials into Japanese.
・Perform duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies or governmental regulations.
・Travel requirement: 50-75%
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business or Related field
・YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- 7+ years of related business and/or relevant facilitation experience
・SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Fluent English skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent Japanese skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills
[Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities]
・Master's degree preferred.
・Experience with adult classroom training and facilitation and delivering to classroom sizes ranging from 12 to 50 participants
・Experience delivering leadership development learning and programs
・Organizational and time management skills, including classroom coordination and management
・Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
・Coaching and/or assessment certification (e.g. GROW, MBTI, etc.)
・Leadership Development content certifications
・Experience leveraging proven facilitation techniques for group learning and discussions.
