[Responsibilities]

  • Manage Japan campus recruiting strategy (both locally and internationally) partnering closely with Regional and Global Campus Recruitment teams, Business Unit Heads and HR Coverage (Business Partners)
  • Creation of yearly campus recruitment plan for each division in Japan, including contribution to budget planning
  • Lead and provide strategic direction to direct reports
  • Continuous evaluation of the recruitment process to drive process improvement and yearly strategy reviews with business to revise campaign annually
  • Management of assessment process for Japan campus recruitment through multiple stages and varying assessment methodologies, ensuring validity and integrity of process
  • Planning and managing end to end recruitment processes including Assessment Centers and Recruitment Events such as Careers Fair.
  • Responsible for managing the effective and timely execution of offers to ensure offers are accepted
  • Candidate management - coaching graduates through our recruitment process & onboarding candidate care
  • Ambassador of the company brand, managing relationships with external vendors, universities, students and all levels of staff from Analyst to Managing Director level
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key universities
  • Partnering with the Campus Events & Marketing team on Japan attraction strategy
  • Working with the Marketing and Digital Strategy teams on Japan specific website
  • Working closely with vendors, external third parties and HR colleagues to plan internship program
  • Management of the summer internship program (8 to 10 weeks)
  • Ensuring accurate maintenance of campus systems to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy
  • Ensuring that campus recruiting efforts are aligned to the Firm's overall diversity strategy
  • Keeping up to date with current graduate recruitment market and propose changes to current graduate recruiting policies and practices
  • Project work throughout the year on cross-regional and/or inter-Asia Campus Project teams

  • English - Essential
  • Japanese - Essential
  • Knowledge of assessment and selection fundamentals
  • Knowledge of Japan campus recruitment market
  • Campus Recruitment experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Proven ability to manage varied and challenging relationships, influencing both internal and external parties
  • Strong communications skills with the ability alter this style according to audience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Solid project management skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task and handle working in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to deal with ambiguity and changing priorities
  • High-level of initiative and self-motivation
