Engine Sales Representative

[Company Description]
Global Industrial Equipment Manufacturer

[Responsibilities]
Primary Function:
· Rail and industrial engine sales to Japanese OEMs, Dealers and Users
· Promote engine sales to customers and manage engine business to increase customer satisfaction.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
· Interface with OEMs, rail companies and dealers to understand their power needs.
· Work with Customer Engineers to specify the products.
· Meet or exceed the departmental sales plan for gross profit & revenue on sales of engines and value items.
· Provide appropriate technical support to each customer/prospect.
· Generate new business opportunities for the company
· Achieve regular coverage of the customer base by personal visits.
· Communicate effectively between the Company and its customers.
· Business trip required both domestic and international

Functional Skills:
· Written and oral communication skill.
· Sales and engineering skill.
· Contract negotiation
· Project Management

Ability and Knowledge:
· Working knowledge of diesel engines and their application into the relevant market place.
· Retail and commercial knowledge.
· Good written and spoken Japanese as well as English -business level.
· Team work
· Integrity
· Respecting Diversity.
· Work effectively with individuals in all organization of our global operations where necessary.
· College or University degree required.

Qualifications Business Support
· Participate in 6 Sigma program.
· Ensure compliance with Occupation health, safety and environment procedures.
· Work cross-functionally with colleagues/counterpart. Cover duties as necessary in their absence or as required.
