We are seeking a Design Consultant (DC) to join our team! The DC is someone who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, enjoys working with clients and is able to easily and clearly articulate system behavior. The Design Consultant is a true self-starter who deals well with uncertainty and ambiguity. Lastly, he or she is a proven team player who puts the success of the team first

The DC will:

  • Work on a cross-functional project team responsible for the delivery of Interactive Response Technology (IRT) for randomization and drug supply management
  • Design the IRT solution to meet the study requirements based on the clinical protocol, the proposal/executed work order, and discussions with the client
  • Accurately and completely document all requirements in the specification template(s)
  • Lead the internal team review of the draft specifications; main point of contact for the internal team for all IRT design related questions throughout the build process
  • Lead the client review of the IRT specifications and supporting documents, making any required updates and obtaining both client and internal approval by the agreed upon milestone date
  • Maintain the UAT plan, test scripts, and coordinate all required data setup for client UAT
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for design questions (internally and externally) during the system build process
  • Lead client UAT of the IRT system, tracking any required fixes or updates; work with the project manager to determine timelines for any system updates required
  • Support any re-design of the IRT system or implementation of new features in an IRT system during the maintenance period
  • Identify and assist with the implementation of process improvements for the services department
  • Assist the product team with the design and development of new project features by providing feedback based on client requests and project experience
  • Travel to client sites to attend meetings and conduct user training sessions
  • Assist the customer care team with providing support to system users (as required) via the telephone and email
  • Assist with the training of new staff members on our product and processes
  • Perform other related duties as required

You are:

  • Educated with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and a passion for learning
  • Fluent in English and Japanese
  • Experienced, with a minimum of 1 or more years, in the delivery of IRT/IWR/RTSM solutions or a related eClinical application, preferred
  • Poised, polished and articulate
  • Comfortable in fast-paced and dynamic environment, and proactively seek out information, knowledge, and opportunities to improve
  • Naturally curious, an analytical-thinker, and a resourceful problem-solver
  • Savvy with technology and have a knack for finding elegant and effective solutions
  • A self-starter who is comfortable managing uncertainty and ambiguity
