Associate Director for Real Estate Investment Sales

・Build and maintain a network of contacts in the market. Maintain and regularly update a Client Relationship Management Database focused on investors and owners/developers as a team player.
・Proactively undertake business develop activities and source new market leads, opportunities and transactions for the firm.
・Actively take part in business development meetings and activities to increase company's market profile and reach. Create regular activity reports and discuss with direct reports.
・Assist team members in implementation of investment sales transactions for various asset class types including office, retail, residential and hospitality.
・Work as a team player and cross-sell opportunities to other business lines.
・Maintain a high level of client satisfaction for transactions and accounts.
・Risk management control and mitigation throughout transactions.
・Learn and implement global best practice, effectively implement in transactions and develop skills to ensure consistent, best practice service delivery per company's global standards for client requirements.
・Day-to-day duties to include creation of marketing materials and proposals, document preparation, site inspections, site due diligence, financial analysis, broker's opinion of value reports, marketing/business development activities and negotiations.
・Other ad hoc projects and services as reasonably requested by the firm.
・Work may include both domestic and international travel.
・Minimum 5-8 years working experience in the Japanese commercial real estate market with established network of contacts and track record of successfully completed capital markets transactions.
・Excellent communication and writing skills in English (if possible) and Japanese language proficiency.
・Excellent computer and financial skills.
・Self-motivated and proactive with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
・Team player and ability to work effectively with multinational team including Japanese and non-Japanese colleagues.
・Japan Real Estate Transaction License ("Takken").
・Real Estate Appraiser License (If possible)
