Key Responsibilities
Business Copilot:
Deploy Business Segment Strategy and Shape Financial Performance

- Co-lead AEP / internal planning process, and proactively influence segment teams and cross-function counterparts to deliver target financial shape
  • Evaluate performance, clarify gaps, and propose course corrections toward target segment goals

Support Growth / QES (Quality Efficiency Safety) Project

- Co-lead project leaders with financial discussions, prioritizing initiatives with ROI analysis
  • Provide team with possible financial simulation scenarios for quality Go / No Go decision
  • Co-architecting business models by leveraging digital tools, process & rules settings, and simplification

Support Trade & Consumer Investment

- Visible ROI on Trade Expenditure and Advertising & Consumer Promotion
  • Monitor Investment brand/division status for the best allocation of fund within and across segments
  • Perform turnovers analysis and provide key insights of financial impact after key initiative activities

Manage Reporting, Analysis and Financial Communication

- Support Segment Leadership team in the area of Communicating business objectives, performance & strategy deployment progress through accurate and timely reporting/documentation
  • Lead segment P&L year end estimate (YEE) by period, supporting budget holders of Divisions/Brands
  • Co-ordinate regular and ad-hoc business reports

Overhead Copilot:
Overhead management

- Control Unit Owned overhead budget and bridge communication with Region as Overhead Co-Pilot
  • Manage internal Division overhead reporting quality and timing in shared FIN DATA drives
  • Evaluate, forecast & budget overhead at various levels; budget responsibility of Local/Region, cost category of salary & wage, expenses, shared costs, functions periodically and quarterly
  • Hold quarterly expense review with owners and propose year-end-estimate on total overhead
  • Entry overhead accruals on salary & benefit and framework expense spending
  • Lead service fee analysis & agreement with group companies

Payroll accounting and cost monitoring

- Review monthly payroll with Associate Service Center and entry payroll journals
  • Communication MPI with LTI S&F Team and entry quarterly journals
  • Perform periodical payroll account reconciliations
  • Raise request for payment on monthly withholding tax
  • Coordinate actuary for yearend projected pension obligation and entry journals and annual report
  • Analysis of annual vacation pay accruals and entry journal

Process Copilot:
Controllership Support

- Review internal control effectiveness periodically against Internal Control Excellence (ICE)
  • Propose internal control updates to Controllership for business changing area
  • Implement new Business Unit controls, i.e. rules and processes, in demand, supply, and back office

  • University Bachelor Degree
  • Nissho Boki 2nd Preferred
