  • Respond to end-user service requests to troubleshoot the nature of reported incidents and taking necessary steps to resolve those issues
  • Provide support of desktop OS and Applications, networking environment and Telephony equipment
  • Escalate issues critically affecting business to the Global IT team
  • Coordinate and communicate with global IT teams to ensure efficient running of global IT systems
  • Debugging the company's logistics systems
  • Communicate with vendors
  • Other IT related duties as required


  • 2+ years' IT support or help desk experience
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
  • Native Japanese and business level English (communication with APAC offices required)
  • Strong written skills for documentation and reporting
  • Strong verbal skills for communicating technical and lay issues to end-users and IT teams
  • Understanding of NACCS, Yayoi and EDI systems preferred
  • Trade/maritime industry knowledge preferred
  • Self-motivated, organized and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Willingness and desire to learn about and handle unfamiliar tasks
  • Ability to diffuse situations and be perceived as approachable
