Marketing Director

[Company Description]

・ Responsible to strategically plan and execute all marketing/PR/Creative activities to position and grow as a strong global fashion brand in Japan.
・ Establishing the marketing strategy to win in the market and profitably drive share and volume growth in Japan while generating brand awareness, acquiring new customers and retaining current customers.
・ Responsible for all Specialty store, Factory store and Online store Marketing planning to drive traffic, conversion and loyalty and build a strong Omni channel brand in Japan market.

・ Position has responsibility for setting brand strategic direction for the Japanese market
・ Contributes to decisions on overall brand positioning strategy and seasonal marketing objectives.
・ Contributes to brand management team's responsibilities of setting strategy, marketing mix, and budget allocation.
・ Responsible for setting the strategic direction for the CRM components of the overall marketing plan.
・ Contributes to maximizing exposure of products in fashion medium aligned to brand and our business strategy

Job Responsibilities
1. Support drive strategic marketing plan
・ Work closely with Senior Director, Marketing to support build strategic marketing plan that is aligned and support long-range business plan.
・ Partner with cross function teams to provide direct customer and product information to feed into strategic planning and in-season management

2. Drive annual and seasonal marketing strategy and plan
・ Work closely with Senior Director, Marketing to build seasonal marketing plan that best support seasonal business objectives and product strategies. This to be presented both cross functionally and marketing internally for each teams to carry out seasonal work.
・ Partner closely with marketing functional experts to carry out seasonal marketing execution. Ensure every aspects of execution are aligned and support overall marketing plan.
・ Build promotion and event plans that drive and achieve business objectives.
・ Plan and execute new store opening marketing.
・ Manage all creative cadence in close partnership with Senior Director, Marketing, VMD, Field and Global Marketing.
・ Ensure overall global alignment.
・ Write project briefs and creative briefs when needed.
・ Manage seasonal project pipeline and key milestones.

3. Drive and manage seasonal promotions, events and marketing calendar
・ Drive seasonal/monthly promotion and event planning in close partnership with Senior Director, Marketing, Global Marketing partners and Cross functional partners.
・ Build promotion and event plans that drive and achieve business objectives.
・ Plan and execute new store opening marketing.
・ Apply customer lens and creative thinking to promotions and events.
・ Manage Retail Marketing, Online Marketing, Creative, CRM, PR and Digital/Social Marketing team for successful implementation.
・ Manage and update marketing calendar.

4. Participate in global marketing community
・ Participate in global marketing community in terms of regular touch bases and conference calls.
・ Be a market expert and a good partner.
・ Provide necessary market information to global teams.
・ Share and cascade global information among in-country teams.

5. Manage marketing budget and team
・ Manage budget and allocate budget in close partnership with Senior Director, Marketing.
・ Manage marketing team.

1) Knowledge, skills & abilities:
・ Strong command of English both in writing and speaking
・ Strong overall Marketing experience with Fashion, Retail or other Consumer Goods Brands.
・ Able to write excellent Strategy and Briefs
・ Thinker that comes up with Strategic & Creative Big Ideas
・ Skilled and experienced in Agency management
・ Proven experience and ability to work with Creative organizations.
・ Marketing experience working with world class brands a plus
・ Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
・ Ability to apply strategic thinking to Brand Marketing
・ Flexible and open to change in direction

2) Minimum educational level:
・ BA or BS or higher

3) Minimum experience:
・ Minimum 10 years Marketing experience
・ Preferably in Fashion, Retail or other Consumer Goods Brands
