Head of GA at Shiga Plant



  • Collect and provide information on operating expense, investment & fixed assets, production volume to manage Supply Chain at Shiga
  • Manage HR information on personnel & organization, and work hours & holidays
  • Communicate with the Labor Union
  • Hire contract employees and 3rd parties
  • Administrate and manage contracts with outsourced vendors, local governments and external organizations
  • Take care for the health and safety of Shiga's employees as well as for environmental protection
  • Identify and evaluate the needs to ensure HSE compliance with Shiga/Japan local laws and regulations, on a regular basis. ▪Delegate the duties and define the tasks according to local procedure (e.g. Management of Change, regular maintenance and inspection, environmental controls), programs or systems in compliance with Shiga/Japan local regulations and international standards
  • Ensure and report compliance of the site with applicable international and national laws and regulatory requirements to the Managing Director and upper line management incl. addressing potential conflicts regarding HSE compliance issues
  • Ensure the incident notification processes and the reporting processes, such as Basis, Intelex and HSE incident
  • Lead OE activities, monitoring KPI and take measures
  • Lead Product Supply System (PSS), such as pillar implementation support, performance dashboard facilitation
  • Foster KAIZEN mind


  • University degree or above
  • 5 years or more experiences in a General Affairs role in production plant
  • 5 years or more experiences in operational efficiency
  • Safety knowledge for Production Equipment, Building, HVAC and Plumbing field
  • Knowledge Building standard, Fire protection, Environment, Explosion protection
  • General knowledge of Labor Laws in Japan and compliance
  • General knowledge of Inclusion & Diversity
  • GMP experience preferred but not a must
  • Strong leadership and flexibility
  • Fluency in Japanese and English (At least TOEIC 730 or above)
