Responsibilities:
- Drives/enhances compliance programs, policies and procedures
- Provide advice to the business on BAU basis; participate or lead regulatory projects/initiatives
- Proactively partner with the business, and liaise closely with colleagues in the region and global teams
- Develops compliance-related training by benchmarking regulatory & external best practices, tailors compliance trainings to the business
- Conducts 2nd line reviews on sales/marketing materials, new products and business processes/controls
- Helps drive compliance culture awareness efforts (e.g., messaging, training)
- Manages regulatory exams and regulatory reporting; maintains relationships with and interfaces with local regulators
- Conducts 2nd line risk assessments and designs and execute 2nd line oversight activities
- Effectively reports to senior leaders on Compliance matters to ensure transparency and proper oversight
- Participates and presents on local risk and senior management governance committees
[応募資格]
- A Bachelor Degree a MUST, Master degree desired. A minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management programs, or audit. Hands-on regulatory compliance in the areas of Anti-money laundering, Privacy or Sales Practice a PLUS.
- Experience in financial services industry, Big 4 audit/consulting is preferrable.
- Experience with local authorities is essential - direct experiences in creating and managing regulatory communications, interactions and exam handling with Japan regulators and regulatory authorities.
- Preferred: At least 2 years of people management experience, demonstrated leadership skills and enthusiasm on team building/coaching and talent development
- Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English, both written and spoken
- Excellent report writing skills, presentation, coordination, facilitation and influencing skills
- Relationship building with senior management and stakeholders at various levels is critical; proactively set the agenda, and bring others along
- Experience in supporting digital solutions from compliance perspectives a plus
- Able to think out-of-box, proactively identify issues, and provide solutions to business and/or Compliance process and activities
- High standard of integrity, able to build relationship with the business and handle conflicts constructively
