Accounting Manager

Position Summary:
Manage full spectrum of accounting/finance activities ensuring that all records are properly maintained in accordance with Group policies and statutory requirements.

To be successful with this position, you should be a team player holding a good analytical, communication, and Microsoft Office skills. Also, you should demonstrate the ability to exercise good judgment, problem solving skill, ownership, and be motivated to perform the best of your abilities. Great organizational skills and high ethical standards are highly expected.



  • Manage book closing (Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly)
  • Variance analysis and advice necessary actions to management to achieve targets
  • Audit preparation and involvement (Statutory, Local, and Group)
  • WC management
  • Perform various tax returns communicating with a 3rd party expert and Group
  • CAPEX and OPEX analysis and its application support and justification
  • GM analysis for price, volume, mix, product perspective
  • Examine KPI particularly DSO, DSI, and WADPO and improve them cooperating with responsible department
  • Manage IC transactions including account reconciliation
  • Verify validity of account discrepancies by investigating information from various stakeholders
  • Examine sales recognition in accordance with Group Policies
  • Prepare AR/AP forecast in cooperation with FPA team and be accountable with variances
  • Complete and correct registration of responsible accounting entries
  • Ensure controls are appropriately implemented, maintained, developed, and enforced
  • Review current processes, establishing best practices and implementing streamlined workflows to drive highest efficiency
  • Diligent with strong attention to detail
  • Proactively identify and report any risks
  • Liaise with stakeholders in and outside Finance dept.
  • Execution of other ad-hoc assignments as requested
  • Prompt submission of all required documents/forms
  • Adherence of policies and procedures


  • Bachelor's degree (BS) in Accounting or relevant majors
  • Good understanding of US/Japanese GAAP and preferably IFRS
  • English proficiency (both writing and speaking)
  • Flexible approach to things, proactive, hands-on, and can-do-attitude
  • Analytical minded, meticulous and the ability to establish priorities
  • Great communication skills, and proficient in Microsoft office in particular Excel (Macro, VLookup, Pivot table,
