・To play as strong and aggressive leader of local sales force and build a solid team, well aligned with Company's strategy.
・To deliver rapid sales expansion by proposing company's globally-competitive product working closely with colleagues in Japan to identifying new business opportunity (Refractories, Systems and other new products/technologies/solutions), approaching new targeted customers, building up initial commercial model (pricing, payment, service model, etc.), and improve the understanding between customer and company teams.
・To acquire information of competitor in legal way and monitors/reports competitive activities regularly.
・To regularly meet with key customers for roadmap update, business review, promoting the new product at the key customers.
・To make customer plant site visit upon request for specific occasions such as trial, monitoring, trouble shooting, testing etc.
・To cooperate, support and more importantly coach local sales colleagues for business growth/trouble shooting.
・To feedback and communicate with global company's members and share Japanese market intelligence on a regular basis.

The role is supposed to observe and collect in legal way the information about the activities of competitor on customer site tightly and work with other function dept. to develop action plan to cope with the competition effectively.
・He or She will be responsible for not only leading a sales team but also developing new business to new independent customers, as well as existing important.
・In this sense, He or She is expected to have good communication skills both internally i.e. among not only local colleagues (mainly) but also global company's members (occasionally) and externally i.e. customers/engineers with high academic background.
・He or She is requested to join a series of a few week training in/with Company's facilities outside Japan (China, Korea, Taiwan, USA, Europe depending on business situation) either on visit base or on remote base (on-line).

・Deliver the commitment/budget as a team by prioritizing the project/initiatives aligned with company strategy
・Precise Business Forecasting, and continuous recovering or back up planning and execution to avoid undershooting as a team.
・Commercial modelling & closing: Based on the meeting/informal interaction with customers to identify right modelling from product mix, pricing, payment term service model, etc.) and achieve the transaction between company and new and existing customers
・Business development: visit new customer with account manager to identify decision maker and their main expectation and trouble they are facing, with proper competitor study to manage the entry to the business with proper solution
・Product trials: work with product manager/application engineer to identify barriers that may hinder the process of product trial in new customer and take action accordingly
・Adhere to HSE regulations at all times

・Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in major of metallurgy, mechanical engineering, refractory material engineering.
・More than 5 years of experiences as leader in sales and/or business development team/department/unit serving to steel making and/or metallurgy industry (supplier/vender/manufacturer of consumables or refractory products or similar).
・Basic financial literacy (P/L, B/L, CF) as a leader of sales team or organization (mandatory)
・Strong communication & aggressive negotiation skills and wide-ranged basic knowledge required for sales and/or business development (mandatory)
・Preferably technical background of metallurgy or experience in steel works.
・Leading and building the team by "Walk the Talk" with action-oriented
・Strict self-control and monitoring with self-motivation
・Solution-selling capabilities based on a deep understanding of customer needs
・Proven track record of solution selling business development
・Comfortable talking to senior management of customer
・Good data analysis & computer skill (remote way of working)
・Fluent English in oral and written communication (in order to make feedback and communicate with global company's members and share Japanese market intelligence on a regular basis)
