- Product range development for the future business
- In early stage for development, to work with CBI (Consumer business intelligence) team to arrange consumer research to understand consumer preference and trend.
- Responsible for all aspects of new range development including concept creation, item development / selection, design, balance of quality and cost, packaging, etc.
- Business condition settlement / improvement
- Consumer service scheme settlement
- Build consumer service scheme (call center, service parts supply, etc) collaborating with 3PL company, Japan branch of global brands, local supplier and other partners.
- Program execution (management)
- Product specification and USP (Unique selling point) information support for creating marketing materials such as displays, POS, etc, and also for business presentation to clients.
- 5+ years' product development experience in consumer product industry
- 5+ years' buyer/merchandiser experience in living / kitchen related product
- Business level English (verbal and written)
[Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities]
- Experience of SAP systems (or other ERP systems)
- Strong time-management in multi-task environment
- Problem solving skills with ability to anticipate, identify and solve problems
- Roll-up-sleeve mentality
- Team work and good communication/networking skill to cope with a multi functions in Japan office and APAC, global colleagues.
