We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking leader to develop and execute enterprise data integration and business insights strategies to promote a data-driven decision culture.
The position is a "hands-on" team management role with responsibilities to manage a team and to work closely with cross-functional and global teams to deliver key enterprise information needs with an emphasis on creating value from data.
・Stakeholder engagement and strategy development: Partner with senior business stakeholders to co-develop and lead strategic data and analytics initiatives.
・Capability decision-making: Make and execute strategic decisions on the use of data architecture and data science techniques to solve critical business problems and achieve business goals.
・Team development: Coach team members in supporting project definition and implementation by cross-functional teams for business stakeholders
・Global collaboration: Establish effective trust partnerships with cross-functional teams and global communities.
・Culture and change: Build, promote and develop a strong and highly engaged IT team to establish a commercial effectiveness culture and mindset which focuses on continuous improvement to drive business performance.
・Analytics maturity: Lead change management to promote data and analytics adoption; an environment that places high value on using information as a basis of decision-making to drive competitive advantage.
・Drive modern agile delivery: Embed agile project delivery mindset to deliver value while maintaining adherence to relevant IT compliance policies such as System Development Life Cycle.
・Technology modernization: Stay current with leading data, analytics and AI trends to develop strategic points of view on applicability.
・10+ years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience, including at least 7 years of Business Insight & Data Analytics experience
・Experience leading small teams and technical team members
・Strong analytical and communications skills
・Fluent in English
・Degree(s) in Finance; Economics, Business Administration, Business Analytics or Life Sciences

・Experience working in agile model with user-design thinking to prioritize and develop minimum viable products.
・Superior analytical skills with proficiency in a broad range of marketing analytics methodologies including qualitative and quantitative design, data analysis and statistics.
・Relevant market experience in Pharma.
・Knowledge and experience with pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., prescription and sales data, patient claims data, promotional audits).
・Experience in consulting is a plus
・Understanding of advanced analytics, AI, and IT products is a plus
JPY 6.5M ~ 15M
